Team Sports Events & VedVox Media invite all fitness enthusiasts, nature lovers, families, and responsible citizens to join us in a unique community movement dedicated to protecting our environment. Trees are nature's air purifiers and natural temperature controllers. Through this special event, we aim to create awareness about the importance of forests, greenery, and environmental conservation. Event Details Event: Run for Forest – Run for Environment Date: July 5, 2026 Venue: Chandigarh Club, Chandigarh Categories 10 KM Run 5 KM Run Fun Run (500 meters*) (*Distance may vary depending on the approved route.) Plant a Tree – Make a Promise On the BIB Collection Day, every participant will plant one tree at the venue and pledge to plant another tree at home. Together, we also pledge: Not to throw plastic waste, garbage, or any other pollutants in forests, parks, or open lands. To protect and preserve trees and green spaces. To encourage sustainable environmental practices in our communities. It is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and demonstrate their commitment to protecting our environment and increasing green cover. Terms & Conditions Participants should be medically fit to take part in the event. Organizers will provide basic medical support during the event; however, any medical expenses incurred by participants shall be their own responsibility. In case the event is postponed or cancelled by the Administration due to unforeseen circumstances, natural calamities, or emergencies, registration fees will not be refunded. Participants will be accommodated on the rescheduled event date. Participants are expected to follow all event guidelines and environmental commitments.
