About The Event
Ghar is not just an open mic — it’s a feeling. Curated by Tape A Tale, this event is a safe, welcoming space for storytellers, poets, writers, and listeners to come together and celebrate the power of words. Whether you want to perform or simply sit back and listen, Ghar invites you exactly as you are. Stories can be fictional or real, poems can be whispered or spoken aloud — every voice matters here. The event follows an open-mic format where participants can put their names into a hat, and selected performers get a chance to take the stage and share their piece. Each performer is given a short slot, ensuring a smooth, engaging experience for everyone. At the end of the show, one performer is honoured as the Performer of the Night. Conducted in English, Hindi, and Hinglish, Ghar welcomes audiences of all age groups and creative backgrounds. It’s a perfect evening for anyone who loves words, emotions, and human connection. If you’ve ever wanted to share your story — or listen to someone else’s — Ghar is your home.
