Terms & Policies
Participation in CGL 2026 is subject to the official Conditions of Competition issued by Chandigarh Golf Club. Eligibility is governed by the membership categories and player requirements specified by the league. The league consists of 24 teams divided into four groups. Each team has a squad of 16 players under the published CGL 2026 conditions. Each CGL match consists of two singles and five pairs. The stipulated round is played over 18 holes. CGL matches follow the Rules of Golf, Chandigarh Golf Club Local Rules and applicable Conditions of Competition. Net Stableford scoring is used as specified in the official competition conditions. A win earns 1 CGL point, a tie earns 0.5 point and a loss earns 0 points. The top two teams from each group qualify for the quarter-final stage. Players must comply with the applicable handicap, tee and lineup requirements. The first match on each matchday is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM from Tee #1, according to the official Conditions of Competition. The Tournament Committee may modify, suspend, postpone, reduce or cancel a round when required under the competition conditions. Players are responsible for following instructions from Rules Officials, Course Marshals and the Tournament Committee.
