Plant Your Ganesha
About The Event
Plant Your Ganesha is a creative and eco-conscious workshop in Chandigarh that combines festive traditions with handmade art and the idea of growing new life. Participants can create their own plantable Ganesha idol, crafted using natural clay, soil and seeds, and take home a meaningful handmade creation. The workshop offers an opportunity to explore the process of creating a sculpted Ganesha form while incorporating seeds into the artwork. Once planted under suitable conditions, the seed-embedded creation is designed to become part of a growing plant, connecting the festive experience with nature. The session is suitable for people who enjoy arts and crafts, DIY activities, handmade décor and sustainable craft experiences. It is also designed for eco-conscious participants, devotees, families and anyone looking for a meaningful creative activity connected with festive celebrations. The workshop provides all the required materials, allowing participants to concentrate on creating their own piece. You can work with the natural clay and soil, shape the idol and personalise the creation while learning through a hands-on artistic process. The concept brings together traditional symbolism and a nature-oriented craft activity. Ganesha is traditionally associated with qualities such as wisdom, success, harmony and good fortune; this workshop adds the idea of new life through a seed-embedded creation. Whether you are looking for a Ganesha-making workshop in Chandigarh, an eco-friendly festive activity or a creative experience to enjoy with family and friends, Plant Your Ganesha offers a hands-on way to celebrate through art and nature. The workshop is open to all age groups and is conducted in English and Hindi. All materials are provided as part of the experience. Please note that the poster and description are for visual representation. The final handmade idol, colours, shape, decorative details and resulting plant growth may vary depending on individual creations and natural conditions.
