At the Indian Story Request a song
About The Event
Step into the nostalgia of old-school radio requests with The Indian Story – Request Corner, a special experience bringing back the charm of dedicating songs to the people you love. This October, The Indian Story invites visitors to relive a beautiful tradition where a song, a name, and a heartfelt dedication could express what words sometimes could not. Inspired by the radio request culture of the 1990s, Request Corner offers a chance to pick a song for someone special and dedicate it to them in the moment. Whether it is a favourite romantic melody, a Bollywood classic, an evergreen hit, or a song that holds a personal memory, the idea is to celebrate meaningful connections through music. Taking place at Virgin Courtyard, Sector 7, Chandigarh, on 14 October 2026, this experience brings a nostalgic touch to the city's October event scene. The concept encourages visitors to think of someone they care about, choose a song that reminds them of that person, and share a dedication in the spirit of the old-school radio era. Request Corner is built around the simple pleasure of discovering and sharing music together. It celebrates the traditions that continue to hold emotional value, even as the way people listen to and share songs has changed over time. If you love retro music, Bollywood songs, heartfelt dedications, or nostalgic experiences in Chandigarh, this is an opportunity to revisit a familiar tradition in a contemporary setting. Bring a song to mind, think of the person you would dedicate it to, and enjoy a moment inspired by the timeless connection between music and memories. Join The Indian Story at Virgin Courtyard for Request Corner on 14 October, from 11 AM to 7 PM. For ticketing, participation procedures, and any additional event information, check the organiser's official communication channels before visiting.
