Chogada Tara
About The Event
Chogada Tara 2026 – The Garba Night is a festive Garba and Dandiya celebration scheduled for Saturday, 17 October 2026, at Circus Ground, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Presented by Abhyudaya Events, the event is promoted as a large-scale Tricity Garba and Dandiya night, bringing together music, traditional dance, festive outfits and a vibrant Navratri-inspired atmosphere. The celebration begins at 5:00 PM onwards, giving attendees an opportunity to gather with friends, family and their Garba groups for an evening centred around dance and festive entertainment. The event's promotional material highlights Dance, DJ, Dandiya and Fun as key elements of the experience. Garba and Dandiya are traditional festive dance forms closely associated with Navratri celebrations. Chogada Tara brings these elements into a dedicated event setting where participants can dress in traditional or festive attire, carry their Dandiya sticks and enjoy an evening of music and group dancing. The event will take place at Circus Ground in Sector 17, Chandigarh, a public event ground that is used for commercial events, fairs and other large gatherings. Chandigarh's municipal records specifically identify the Sector 17 Circus Ground as a venue available for commercial-purpose bookings. The supplied event announcement asks attendees to gather their gang, grab their Dandiya sticks and get ready for a night of Garba vibes. The creative also promotes the event as “Tricity's Biggest Dandiya and Garba Night.” This is promotional wording from the organiser and is presented as such rather than as an independently verified distinction. Passes are promoted through the event's booking channels, with contact numbers +91 80540 41181 and +91 78892 31615. The poster also displays District and BookMyShow alongside the event website chogadatara.in.
